My name's Ivan and I've been working on SEOnaut for the last few months as a sole developer. I'm developing this tool to keep my own websites on track and avoid critical errors that could affect their SEO.
SEOnaut is a technical SEO tool that can audit websites and find issues that are affecting their search engine rankings.
SEOnaut is a technical SEO tool that can audit websites and find issues that are affecting their search engine rankings, but it started as a learning exercise really. Earlier this year I decided I wanted to learn the Go programming language, and what a better way to learn than building something useful with it?
Go is an excelent language when it comes to concurrency, so building a crawler that could extract data from my websites seemed to be the perfect fit, that way I could learn the language and build a tool I needed. Eventually, the project reached its beta stage and proved to be useful for my own needs, so I decided to publish it so others could use too.
SEOnaut still is undergoing further development, I keep improving it and adding new features based on my own needs and the feedback I receive from its users. I'm doing this in an open with a public changelog as well as an open startup page where I share some performance metrics.
